Art as an industry (that is, the animators and such who've been very vocal about AI art), will all have been long replaced/forced to integrate with technology by then.for them to say otherwise is preposterous. I see AI art as an evolution of art.imagine how insanely different art will be in 100-200 years.do these gatekeepers truly believe that hand-drawn work on paper/canvas etc.will be the preferred choice amongst collectors? That people will pay big bucks for digitally drawn images? They're out of their minds. People like what they like, and will buy/look at what intrigues them.most of your every day people could honestly give two hoots as to how something was made, if they truly connect with it. In my eyes, it shouldn't matter how it was made.there are a TON of incredibly talented artists in this world that we will never, ever hear of.meanwhile we'll hear about a 10 year old "prodigy" who literally throws paint at a canvas.
I do digital art as well, and have been leery to even share that because of how people treated digital art/artists back in the earlier 2000's.I'm afraid at this point that if I go about sharing my digital art with any of my AI art, that these gatekeeping "artists" that flaunt their ability to do something that millions of hobbyists can do.will immediately call me out as a fake and say that my work is mostly AI.
I'm with you here.I was just browsing, trying to get a better idea as to how people feel about AI art before I go about sharing more of my own (I do on the generator-platforms, and I get a good response on them.but when I share on social media, not so much).
