
This folder location varies based on which operating system you are using.

You can save your add-in file anywhere you wish, but I recommend you save it in the default add-in folder for Office. Select the macro you wish to use, then select Run. Otherwise, you can perform these steps: Select the Developer tab and choose Macros. Note: I will be using Microsoft Excel for this demonstration, but the rest of the Office programs should have very similar processes. If you have set your macro to use a shortcut, simply hold CTRL and press the key you specified as the shortcut key.
